Adidas Ultra Boost Launch
On January 22, 2015, Adidas launched their newest running shoe: Ultra Boost. For the world-wide launch event, Adidas’ top executives gathered with world-class athletes and the media to reveal the latest in running shoe technology. Oxygen was brought in to handle all the lighting, sound and video components of this epic launch at the iconic 23 Wall Street.
Our client wanted the venue to keep its gritty, raw, construction character to invoke a dystopian, revolution feel. Over almost 2 days, we created 6 distinct areas spread across 3 floors each requiring separate power distro, lighting, audio and video. To enhance the gritty and raw looking space, we repurposed industrial fixtures to act as both scenic elements and light sources. The crescendo was operating a full lighting, sound and video reveal presentation.
