Diesel Launch Party at Academy Mansion
Talking about the February 2016 NY Fashion Week, The New York Times said “Perhaps the biggest, and certainly most elaborate, party of the week came by way of Italy, courtesy of the denim brand Diesel.”
Oxygen was brought in by one of the top fashion event designers in the world to handle all the lighting, sound and video to celebrate the launch of Diesel’s newest flagship store. The setting was Academy Mansion – a four-story spectacular mansion built in 1920. We created different dramatic lighting and video looks for each room. One room we video mapped all 4 walls and the ceiling. In another, we brought in our vintage televisions (think Archie Bunker’s TV) and configured them to play current custom branded content. For lighting, we used a variety of cutting edge fixtures with a little neon thrown in to create different effects from room to room…
From a sound perspective, we provided all the PA, backline and audio engineering for the different performers on different floors including DNCE (Joe Jonas – Cake by the Ocean), Travi$ Scott and Brian Newman.
