Getting our Hands Dirty for Mudboy

Oxygen Eventworks teamed up with Spotify to create a gallery-style performance experience for Sheck Wes and the release of his debut album, Mudboy.

The event took place in an old restored church in the heart of Harlem. We were the first people to take over the venue upon the completion – springing life back into the once rundown piece of history, one hyped fan at a time!

Fans walked into a beautifully lit chamber washed in yellows, purples and oranges and explored a gallery of 15 photography images, all representing songs from his album release. They also were able to interact with a live photo booth array that broadcast their shot onto a 65′ projection surface in real-time.

For his performance, we provided a banging D&B system catered specifically for the trap stars needs and in result, rattling every bone of the building.

After the event, guests were able to remove and take home the one-of-a-kind large scale photographs signed by Sheck.

Sheck Wes completes the gallery inspired theme for the event by signing off several of his art pieces with a bucket of mud - did someone say mudboy?

Sheck Wes takes the stage! With a controlled lighting system, we opt for a bluey-green pixel tube backdrop to set the scene for the opening of the show.
